Nine times they had agonisingly fallen at one of the final hurdles to promotion before Thomas Frank’s eye-catching young team beat Swansea City 2-0 at Wembley to invite the giants of the Premier League to their new stadium.  With 5 thousand Bees fans inside the stadium, the long-awaited triumph had the sense of occasion it deserved.
